To meet Qindao Kanten® agar’s production and raw materials safety requirements, Qingdao Libangda Marine Technology Co., Ltd. farming gracilaria in pollution free water areas in Shandong, Fujian etc. Meanwhile, we cooperated with CAS Institute of Oceanology, Ocean University of China etc, to study systematically of gracilaria breeding and culture. We adopted new technology, culture the tissue of particular parts of the seaweed, so that it can produce rationings anniversary. It overcame sporling shortcomings of slow growth, poor anti-miscellaneous algae and easy to fall off etc, improved gracilaria yield and ensure the production.
